IN 2006 Ft. Lauderdale, FL – January 20, 2006 –SeaStrike Boats LLC, will display its220 B (Bracket) Center Console, among other models, at the Miami Boat Show, and will begin production on its new 28’ Center Console in 2006. SEASTRIKE 220 B The full transom at the stern of the 220B allows more interior room – about 10 more sq. ft – for the fisherman and his family. The 60-gallon livewell and two side wells are adaptable to many uses as either of the side well covers provides ideal bait rigging areas. The bracket astern also serves as a true swim platform for loads of family fun on the water. The extended engine platform changes the center of gravity for the better, which allows the 220B to get on plane easier and to stay on plane at lower rpms. With an F225 HP motor, the boat will cruise in the mid-40’s at about 4000 RPM’s and top out in the low 50’s. The helm station features well-organized space for flush-mounted electronics as well as comfortable seating. The large console also accommodates an optional head and extra storage. The large surface area is ideal for larger electronics and serves as a great area to put things while in use. There is also a large glove box to starboard and an optional tackle locker below. Easy-to-walk-on wide gunwales feature four flush-mounted rod holders, two on each side. Rod holders are also built in the optional leaning post. Forward, the deck features a 70-gallon in-floor fishbox. The full casting platform includes two large built-in dry storage compartments. It easily converts into a comfortable seating area or sun lounge. All rails – bow, hand and grab – are made of stainless steel (the console grab rail is the only standard rail installed). They are specially selected and welded for the design of this boat, and then thru-bolted to recessed nuts. All hardware is properly incorporated, from cleats to recessed hinges, and all wiring is encapsulated in conduit. For safety’s sake, in addition to a self-bailing cockpit, the 220B has an automatic bilge pump and built-in foam flotation that exceeds the US Coast Guard standards. SEASTRIKE 2006 LINEUP The 2006 SeaStrike Boats lineup will include the 18’ Skiff, 20’ Center Console, 220 Bracket Center Console, and 240 Center Console models. The 16’, 17’ and 18’ Center Console models will all be discontinued in order to make way for SeaStrike to expand its product line over 24 ft. at its new 200,000 sq. ft. facility in Perry, FL. Currently, SeaStrike is close to finalizing its final designs for its 28’ center console model, and plans to put those designs into production in 2006. SeaStrike also plans to re-enter the growing market for family-friendly fishing boats in the over 30-foot range, with 32’ and 36’ boats also in its development pipeline. SEASTRIKE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS All SeaStrike Boats are currently constructed using a hand-lay up process, incorporating the finest biaxial fiberglass. The hull and inner liner are overlapped at the keel and other major stress points. The fiberglass and foam stringer system is built in the same manner and they are permanently built into the boat prior to hull and deck assembly, creating an extremely strong boat free of any distortion on the running surface. The hull and liner are permanently bonded together in molds and cured for 24 hours to create a single unit. SeaStrike backs all of its boats from 2005 model years on with a 10-year hull warranty, transferable within the first five years. For additional information, please visit www.seastrikeboats.com.### |
