Boating Magazine Selects SeaStrike 240 CC as 2005 Project Boat

New York, NY – February 2, 2005—Boating Magazine has selected its 2005 Project Boat: the SeaStrike 240
CC.

Boating Magazine and SeaStrike Boats have come to an agreement that will see Boating use a new
SeaStrike 240 CC throughout the summer of 2005. The editors anticipate various first-person articles on their
adventures in the SeaStrike 240 CC.

Boating approached SeaStrike with the idea in November 2004, and specifically had the 24’ in mind. “The 24’
SeaStrike is ideal for Boating’s 2005 Project Boat,” said Peter McDonald, Boating’s Senior Associate Editor.
SeaStrike Boats was more than willing to participate in such an exciting venture. “How soon can we get started?”
asked Tom Thies, President and Owner of SeaStrike Boats. “We are really thrilled to have this opportunity
to show the boating world just how versatile a center console is, and just how well a SeaStrike performs
day in and day out.” The SeaStrike 240 CC/Boating Project Boat will be on display in the SeaStrike Booth
(G16 in the Convention Center) at the Miami International Boat Show from February 17-21, 2005.

Boating Magazine is the world’s largest powerboat magazine and winner of 7 awards in the Boating Writers
International 11th Annual Writing Contest. With a paid circulation of 200,000 avid boaters, Boating is written by

of all SeaStrike Boats. SeaStrike recently moved its headquarters from Miami to 2201 Wilton Drive,
Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33305 and the new number in Ft. Lauderdale is (954) 566-6320. The SeaStrike manufacturing
