SeaStrike Introduces its New Top-of-the Line: 260B Center Console

SeaStrike, one of the most honored names in recreational fishing boats for over 35 years, is introducing its new top-of-the-line 260B Center Console with bracket-mounted outboards for maximum cockpit room. It has an unusually large interior on the console, with enough room not only for a head, but a berth as well.

The 260B SeaStrike hull, which features hand lay-up with biaxial knitted fabrics, is designed to handle well in all kinds of weather, including dry, safe rides in the nastiest stuff. The famous SeaStrike ride comes from the way the chines on the boat work to make the ride extraordinarily dry, as they push water away from the boat. The boat also handles well in rough seas, providing a smoother ride with no "slam" effect. The manufacturer is so confident of the entire boat that it comes with a 10-Year Warranty

Tested every day in the sportfishing capital of the US, the SeaStrike 260B is as complete a fishing boat as there is in this class. It comes standard with twin Yamaha 150s, though it is rated for up to 400 hp.

Here’s a 26 footer offering four fishboxes. There are 70 and 21 gallon ones in the bow and a pair of 26 gallon ones in the deck.  It has a non-skid cockpit floor (a huge 56 sq ft!), self-bailing cockpit, comfortable cockpit coming pads, recessed rod racks, two three-drawer tackle boxes, recirculating 26 gallon livewell, and a transom sink with raw water output.

In addition to its oversized cockpit, the SeaStrike 260 B has a large forward casting deck and a complete aft rigging station. It has eight rod holders – four in the gunwales and four in the standard leaning post. Four rocket launchers that are an inherent part of the optional T-top are also available. An electronics box is also available on the optional T-top for those who want to increase the available room for their electronics or additional storage. It also has two covered lockable built-in rod storage boxes.

The helm station incorporates well-thought-out external space for extensive flush mounted electronics. It has standard console leaning post seating for two, an optional deluxe leaning post, a properly positioned windscreen and a fully hydraulic steering system. The lockable walk-in center console storage area can be converted for the optional integrated head with close to six feet of headroom.

The casting deck has three large storage compartments. Combined, they create an uninterrupted area nearly 7' across at its widest, and when the standard equipment cushions and bow filler plate are added, they convert from a casting platform to a comfortable sun lounge.

This is also a family-friendly boat for people who just want to cruise or have fun when not fishing.  It has thoughtfully planned out space and seating areas including a U-shaped bow area with snap-in cushions that seats four, and a bench for two is molded into the front of the console, room for large coolers, and of course, an optional head.  It's fast enough for wakeboarding or water skiing and spacious and stable enough to serve as a diveboat as well.

The SeaStrike 260 CC is 27’1 feet overall, with an 8’6” beam, and weighs 3,950 lbs. without power.  Draft is 19” and deadrise is 18 degrees. It carries 173 gallons of fuel and 14 gallons of fresh water. The MSRP for base boat with twin Yamaha F150 outboards is $73,054.
