The current owners acquired SeaStrike in 2004 and since have launched an aggressive retooling of the line bringing the models up to the fishing standards of today’s serious sport fishing anglers’. Currently offering fishing boats 18 to 24 ft., several larger models are now in testing for a 2005 launch to meet owners desire to move up and stay loyal to the brand.

SeaStrike was originally started in 1973, operating under the name VIP Marine. The company's foundation was based on boating, more importantly the growing sport of fishing.

Meeting the growing needs of recreational fishing anglers kept the company growing and prospering.

Under the Seasquirt name, the company introduced 14,16 and 18 foot center consoles. A 24 center console was introduced in the late 80’s with a 22 following in 2000. Well designed and well built, the boats quickly acquired a rock solid reputation with owners that still gets passed around the docks today.
